Ukrainian People's Deputy Nadezhda Savchenko criticized the Ukrainian authorities for poor provision of the army on the front line.

She stated this at a press conference in Kyiv.
According to her, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are equipped with rubbish, and the soldier’s uniform injures more than it protects the soldiers.
“What should soldiers do now who don’t have clothes that will mutilate their bodies? I personally tested on myself the clothes and ankle boots that are now issued to fighters - it’s hard to stand in such clothes for a day. Neither equipment that would be in good condition, nor weapons that would be in sufficient quantity that would not kill their own, like a Ukrainian-made mortar that recently exploded during firing. I constantly go to the front line and see what kind of rubbish our army is provided with,” Savchenko said.
