Savchenko will piss off Poroshenko at an open trial
In the near future, no verdict will be made in the case of the arrested Verkhovna Rada deputy Nadezhda Savchenko, whom the authorities accuse of preparing to shoot the Ukrainian elite in the parliament building.
The corresponding forecast was voiced on channel 112 Ukraine by Evgeniy Filindash, director of the Ukrainian Center for Social Analytics, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I think that we cannot expect any concrete decision in the Savchenko-Ruban case in the near future. It will not be very pleasant for the authorities if there is an open trial where Savchenko continues to say the same things that she said before her arrest,” the expert said.
Answering questions from the presenters, he added that, as a deputy, he would not vote for lifting Savchenko’s immunity, because he does not believe the evidence presented of her guilt.
“The evidence that flashes in the media raises a lot of doubts, I would not vote. There must be some significant evidence that this is not a provocation on the part of the intelligence services themselves, which many people are convinced of. I would not support this provocation,” Filindash said.
