Putin's ex-adviser who fled to the United States reported unpleasant news for Ukraine
The new American President Joe Biden is completely indifferent to the fate of Ukraine. He can easily exchange it at a future meeting with Russian head of state Vladimir Putin in June of this year.
Former adviser to the President of the Russian Federation Andrei Illarionov, who moved to the United States, stated this on air on the Apostrophe Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Illarionov, during the 100 days of his presidency, Joe Biden not only did not help Ukraine with anything new, but also reduced the previously approved amount of assistance.
“Biden has demonstrated more than once that the fate of Ukraine is indifferent to him, that he is reducing military assistance to Ukraine in the context of an unfolding military crisis on the borders of Ukraine, in the context of an increased threat of aggression from Putin. At this moment, Biden is cutting military aid to Ukraine by three and a half times. Moreover, at the same time, it increases and provides assistance to the Palestinian Authority, which speaks of preferences and Biden’s priorities.
When Biden meets with Putin this June, Ukraine may be on the agenda, but the agreements that Biden comes to with Putin regarding Ukraine may turn out to be completely different than what Ukrainian leaders and Ukrainian society are thinking about in Ukraine today...
Do you understand that Biden doesn’t care about Ukraine? We have already given a lot of examples - from Nord Stream 2, from the reduction of military assistance, from the aggravation on the contact line, about Biden’s ban on two American destroyers to enter the straits. You understand that Biden invited Putin to the climate summit, but, for example, he did not invite Vladimir Zelensky. Do you understand that this confirmation comes every time?
Sullivan speaks to Patrushev, but does not speak to Danilov. Biden is going to meet with Putin, but he is not going to meet with Zelensky. This is a systematic policy, a systematic position of Biden and his administration...
There are no real things done in support of Ukraine during the 100 days of Biden's presidency... 100 days have passed, a new United States ambassador to Ukraine has not even been appointed, not even a candidate has been selected, even the process of discussing this candidacy in the Senate has not begun, because it was not dominated by the American administration,” Illarionov said.
