The SBU announced new arrests in the “Vyshinsky case”
The Security Service of Ukraine is preparing to announce new suspicions to “certain individuals” in the case of the illegally arrested editor-in-chief of the RIA Novosti-Ukraine portal Kirill Vyshinsky, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The SBU reported this.
“New suspicions are being prepared against other persons,” the intelligence service said, denying information from the Ukrainian media that the criminal proceedings have been completed.
As PolitNavigator previously reported, on May 15, the Security Service of Ukraine conducted searches at the office of RIA Novosti-Ukraine. Later it became known that the head of RIA Novosti-Ukraine was informed of suspicion of committing a crime. He was detained. Criminal proceedings have been opened under Part 1 of Article 111 (high treason) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The head of RIA Novosti-Ukraine was arrested. Subsequently, it became known that Vyshinsky’s property had been seized.
