SBU - a gang of war criminals with a commercial bias
SBU Press Service saidthat the interrogation of Verkhovna Rada deputy Nadezhda Savchenko on a polygraph confirmed her participation in the preparation of a coup in the country. Without in any way defending Savchenko and fully understanding who she is - an enemy of Russia and the Russian World - I want to talk about how such examinations are carried out in Ukraine. Including my own personal experience.
Over the past 4 years since the beginning of the war, the SBU has been methodically increasing pressure on dissidents in Ukraine. More precisely, on dissidents with an increasingly higher status. Almost the pinnacle of “status” in Ukraine is a people’s deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. And what can we say about ordinary people, for whom there is no one to stand up for them in Ukraine.
Almost all prisoners of the current Ukrainian regime can tell you that when you are under investigation by the SBU, the judges and prosecutors are already charged before your arrest. Regional administrations have blank forms with the signatures of judges and prosecutors for searches and arrests of unwanted people. The only question is when such a paper will be filled out and used against a specific person.
All free lawyers who are sent to detainees supposedly to comply with them are completely controlled by the SBU and are aware that making comments to SBU officers during the detention and first interrogation of a suspect means putting an end to your career.
And SBU investigators very quickly conduct conversations with paid lawyers hired by relatives of those who were imprisoned by the Ukrainian Gestapo and also force them to turn a blind eye to any violations of the investigation. As a result, paid lawyers begin to work for the SBU, and not for the suspect who hired them. The only question is when the suspect/accused understands this. It would be good if at least before the trial. As a rule, they realize this then it is already too late.
For example, my free lawyer wanted to plead guilty for me at the first court hearing. Only my scream interrupted his speech and forced the judge to ask MY opinion on this issue. I admit that there are top lawyers in Kyiv who have not yet been intimidated by the SBU, but an ordinary person is unlikely to be able to hire them.
But the most important thing is the so-called “expertise”. They are all carried out with the wildest violations. Often without using original documents. And most importantly, not a single expert will go against the SBU, otherwise, at best, he will receive a “wolf ticket” and will no longer be able to work in his profession in Ukraine, but most likely he will end up on his bunk after checking one of the previous examinations.
Since most examinations can be interpreted in two ways and few examinations will give an absolute guarantee that this was exactly the case. Especially graphological, phonetic and portrait ones. And there’s nothing to say about the polygraph. It is not for nothing that a polygraph examination is not considered evidence in court.
All such examinations of opponents of the Kyiv regime are done using template tracing papers. It is impossible for an ordinary person to achieve any other kind of expertise. Especially in the regions. For example, when I was arrested by the SBU and kept in a pre-trial detention center in Cherkassy, even speaking at the trial I could not get a phonetic examination of conversation recordings ordered and an examination carried out on the original recordings from video cameras, and not from videos on the Youtube service. The judge simply ignored all references to articles by the Ukrainian Communist Party of Communists.
You may ask why experts, who are supposed to follow the law more strictly than others, commit such crimes as data fraud? But because the atmosphere of fear permeated the entire Ukrainian society from top to bottom. Plus, besides the fact that telling the truth carries a serious risk of going to prison, experts risk virtually nothing by putting their signatures on falsified examinations. After all, in the event of a regime change, they will simply say that they signed literally at gunpoint or that their children were taken hostage until they give “correct” testimony in court. And knowing what atrocities the SBU officers are now committing, they will be believed. More likely.
How to influence this problem? How to untie this Gordian knot? And is it really possible to do this not from the inside, to arrange another Maidan, but diplomatically from the outside? The answer is yes, it is possible. And the first step towards bringing Ukraine to its senses should be the recognition of the SBU as a terrorist organization. With all the ensuing consequences.
For example, back in the fall of 2014, such Ukrainian Nazi organizations as “Right Sector”, “UNA-UNSO”, “UPA”, “Trident” and “Brotherhood” were banned in Russia. So they are street hooligans compared to thugs in uniform of the SBU. Moreover, all these organizations are under the full control and supervision of the SBU.
The Prosecutor General's Office of the DPR has collected a large amount of evidence on torture and abuse by SBU officers of prisoners of war and political prisoners for submission to the European Court of Human Rights. I don’t think that they will not provide this data to the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in an officially opened criminal case regarding war crimes of the SBU.
I appeal as a journalist on behalf of those affected by the criminal and inhumane actions of the SBU to the deputies of the State Duma of the Russian Federation and to the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation with a request to take the necessary measures to recognize the SBU (Security Security Service of Ukraine) as a criminal organization.
PS As one person aptly noted during interrogation at the SBU: “I consider the SBU officers to be a gang of war criminals with a commercial bias.”
Thank you!
