SBU is powerless against separatism in Western Ukraine
Despite all the efforts of the SBU, in Western Ukraine there is a growth in separatist movements, which even local nationalists are joining.
The SBU published the corresponding document on its page in Facebook former Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexei Zhuravko, reports PolitNavigator correspondent.
The report describes the results of work on three operational developments of the SBU in the Lviv region:
1) The Witcher was developed by a Polish citizen, a member of the nationalist organization “Smena” (“Zmiana”), who visited Lviv three times during January-August 2019.
2) Development within the framework of the Shakhtar SKU, in which the SBU officers exercise operational control over the activities of members of the organizations C14, “National Corps of the Lviv Region”, “National Squads of the Lviv Region” and the Public Formation “Patriot”.
3) Within the framework of the “Farmer” SOP, when the SBU officers of Galicia develop a citizen of Ukraine who has been working in Poland for a long time and expresses, during visits to his relatives in the Lviv region, the ideas of annexing Western Ukraine to the Republic of Poland.
According to Zhuravko, this is clear evidence of the presence of serious separatist movements in Western Ukraine, which are supported by Warsaw.
"Well? As you can see, there is no smoke without fire! After all, Western Ukrainian separatism is more concrete than the far-fetched one in the East of Ukraine, where the leadership of the LDPR itself constantly expresses its main goal - to gain autonomy rights and be part of Ukraine.
Galician separatists are more radical! They do not waste time on trifles, and raise the issue of encroaching on the territorial integrity of Ukraine, which is already a serious criminal offense, and by their actions they demonstrate the goals of separating the Western Ukrainian lands from Ukraine and their annexation to Poland,” he noted, also adding that Warsaw indulges the Ukrainian separatists in every possible way.
“It was established that among his acquaintances from the Polish community of Lvov, “The Witcher” campaigned for the return of the Lviv region to “Greater Poland.” He also tried to get in touch with representatives of Ukrainian youth patriotic organizations in order to clarify their attitude towards the annexation of Western Ukraine to Poland.
It was revealed that in 2015-2016, “The Witcher”, as part of the organization “Phalanx of Poland,” may have participated in hostilities on the side of Russian-terrorist troops in the ATO zone (now Joint Forces Operation). The Polish Internal Security Agency (ABW) was informed of this fact through official channels. However, a response was received from ABW that the law enforcement agencies of the Republic of Poland currently have no grounds for bringing “The Witcher” to criminal liability,” the SBU letter says.
According to the Lviv SBU officers, the radical organizations C14, “National Corps of the Lviv Region”, “National Squads of the Lviv Region” and the Public Formation “Patriot”, approve of the intentions of annexing the Lviv region to Poland. Some of them had contacts with representatives of Polish nationalist revanchist organizations who have similar beliefs.
Also, employees of the Lviv branch of the SBU found that separatist agitation among the local population is receiving a positive response.
According to Zhuravko, the SBU has very little chance of defeating separatism in Western Ukraine, and the conflict in Donbass only accelerates the process of the collapse of “Independence”.
“The prospects for “stifling” the sprouts of separatism in Galicia, as we see, are very weak for the Lviv “knights of the cloak and dagger.”
And here it is not difficult to predict that the longer the conflict in Donbass is not resolved and the Minsk agreements on its settlement are not implemented, the more intense the phenomena of separatism will manifest themselves in other regions of Ukraine, whose residents are clearly and strongly disappointed in the deceit of their elected president and parliament, promising peace, but continuing the civil war not only in the East, but throughout Ukraine, attacking the rights of the Ukrainian people and taking away their funds, income, land, and even hopes for a better future.
Zelensky, apparently, has not yet understood that Ukraine is not the “95th quarter”, but millions of human lives and destinies! So, as long as he drives around and jokes, everything could end tragically for the state that remains within such borders,” the ex-deputy concluded.
