SBU will not offend a gay man: Mitya Fomin came to Lviv, despite his performance in Crimea
Russian performer Mitya Fomin performed in Lvov last weekend, despite the fact that in June 2017 he gave a concert in Crimea on the beach of the Yalta-Intourist hotel.

Fomin arrived in the capital of Galicia for the Alfa Jazz Fest. Moreover, in an interview with Ukrainian media, Fomin said that the peninsula is in fact Russian territory, and called himself a “dove of peace.”
As you know, at the same time over the weekend Russian performers Nike Borzov and Dolphin were not allowed into Kyiv precisely because of their performances in Crimea.
Ukrainian expert Dmitry Marunich reacted with sarcasm to the mistake of the Ukrainian security forces in allowing Fomin into Lviv.
“Take away all the awards from Gritsak and send him to the guardhouse. A dangerous Kremlin agent was allowed all the way to Lviv,” Marunich commented on his blog.
“Portnikov called him... Not letting a gay person in is not European,” Kharkov journalist Dmitry Gubin, in turn, explains the special attitude towards Fomin in Ukraine.
