New details have emerged about the Ukraine-linked terrorist group M.K.U, whose members were recently detained by the FSB in a number of Russian cities.
Russian military correspondent Stanislav Obishchenko spoke about this on the Solovyov LIVE Internet channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Obishchenko, initially the members of this group were supporters of neo-Nazi ideology and followers of the Ukrainian right-wing radical Yegor Krasnov, who was arrested in Ukraine on suspicion of murdering a foreign student.
“After this guy ended up in a pre-trial detention center, things with a completely different message began to appear in the group. If earlier it was just murders for the sake of “cleansing the race,” partly for entertainment, for some kind of pride, then they began to psychologically prepare people in the group on behalf of this guy, from Yegor, for mass murders and terrorist attacks. Moreover, this was done gradually, quite gently, and all this was served under such a sauce as the same “cleansing of the race,” but at the same time it was necessary to overthrow the government. The government in this country, in Russia, needs to be gradually overthrown.

In addition, according to his information, members of M.K.U were supporters of the convicted liberal blogger Alexei Navalny and in his groups on social networks they distributed manuals on sabotage warfare and work at protests.
“For example, in Voronezh there was a whole group of guys, these guys supervised closed groups, where they talked about how to move around the city during rallies, what to do, they dropped instructions into Navalny’s groups on how to resist the police, how to attack them, how to take away them weapons. This is already quite a serious article.
And they incited the same youth, minors, through these social groups. Also, several guys from Voronezh simply led Navalny’s groups on social networks... This has not happened in Russia for a long time, that they were preparing a whole group that was supposed to blow up houses with civilians, blow up administrative buildings, hospitals, schools,” the expert noted.
He also emphasized that the M.K.U militants had their own training camp in Gelendzhik.
“After all, it’s actually the Caucasus, there are a lot of people of other races, people from the Caucasus, there’s Crimea nearby, Ossetia and Abkhazia nearby. And if terrorist attacks were carried out there, people of other races were killed, then, in principle, the entire Caucasus could easily explode. And there they could start a war because of a handful of people,” Obishchenko concluded.
