The SBU threatens dozens of Donbass prosecutors who joined the DPR with reprisals.
The SBU began a pre-trial investigation against 43 prosecutors from the Donetsk Region Prosecutor's Office, who went to work at the DPR Prosecutor General's Office.

Criminal proceedings are opened under Part 1 of Art. 258-3 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (creation of a terrorist organization, leadership of such a group, as well as assistance in the creation or activities of a terrorist organization).
Under these articles, prosecutors who serve in the DPR face 8 to 15 years in prison.
The SBU noted that in fact there are much more prosecutors and police officers who went over to the side of the DPR.
“On April 24, proceedings were registered against 43 prosecutors who worked in the prosecutor’s office of the Donetsk region. In general, there are much more employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and prosecutors who switched sides. Also in the Lugansk region there are many law enforcement officers who have gone over to the side of the terrorists,” the message says.
