The SBU and the State Bureau of Investigation descended on Parubiy
SBU and SBI officers blocked the operation of the Rada-3 electronic voting system during the final tests of a new touch button in the Ukrainian parliament.
Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the outgoing convocation Andriy Parubiy announced this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“10 minutes before general testing was supposed to begin, when 450 employees of the Verkhovna Rada were ready to enter the hall and conduct this testing, 12 investigators and employees of the Security Service entered the Verkhovna Rada premises without an invitation, without an official warning, without a court decision Ukraine and the State Bureau of Investigation. They went into the computer center, said that investigative actions were being carried out, blocked the work of the computer center and gave instructions to the security forces not to allow any of the representatives of the Apparatus into the hall,” the speaker said.
According to him, such behavior of law enforcement officers regarding the legislative body indicates a “raider approach” of the new government regarding parliament.
At the same time, he showed an official letter from the State Bureau of Investigation, which reported on the conduct of a pre-trial investigation against employees of the Verkhovna Rada apparatus, against whom a criminal case was initiated under Article 363 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine for “violation of the rules for operating electronic computers and automated systems by introducing and using a touch key in the electronic system of counting votes using cards of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.”
