SBU searched for weapons, explosives and credit cards from Saakashvili's associates
Employees of the Security Service of Ukraine are conducting searches and interrogating activists of the New Forces Movement party of Mikheil Saakashvili, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The press service of Saakashvili's party reported this today.
It is noted that searches were carried out at the premises of the coordinators of the Dnieper district organization Evgeniy Lukyantsev, the Boryspil region organization - Yaroslav Sarafinyuk, as well as activists Andrei Podzega and Taras Okhrimenko.
According to lawyer Pavel Bogomazov, they were looking for weapons, explosives, computers, notes and credit cards from Saakashvili’s party activists.
As Saakashvili’s ally David Sakvarelidze noted, searches are also taking place at the home of activist Sergei Fesenko and volunteers from various battalions who took part in protests, including during the trial of Odessa Mayor Gennady Trukhanov.
