The main department of the SBU in Kyiv and the Kyiv region received temporary access to things and documents of the Sofrino company (Russia), which are at the disposal of the Kyiv city customs, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

This was reported by the Ukrainian publication Glavkom with reference to the resolution of the Pechersky District Court of Kyiv.

Specifically, we are talking about “printed materials in the form of greeting cards from the head of the Russian Orthodox Church Kirill (Gundyaev).”

“In the text of these postcards, which are planned to be distributed among the episcopate, clergy and believers of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate, there may be calls and statements aimed at creating among the specified audience of the state’s population an increase in sentiments of hostility, hatred towards the Ukrainian-speaking population of the state and other religious denominations,” the intelligence service said in a statement.

As we see, it took the Ukrainian special services, customs and judicial authorities almost three months since Christmas to come to only intermediate results of a joint investigation involving their best intellectual forces about what was in the patriarch’s message (which, in their opinion, is still – three months after Christmas – “planned to be distributed”) “possible existing (Sic!!!) appeals.”

Apparently, the final results on whether calls are only “possible” or “existent” should be expected in another three months - when the best experts finally understand the meaning messages, posted on thousands of websites of the Russian Orthodox Church (including the UOC MP).

In fact, the patriarch’s address speaks exclusively about the Christmas joy of Orthodox Christians. It NEVER mentions the words “Ukraine” or “Ukrainians”. However, perhaps this is discrimination against the specified “audience of the population.” As well as “other religious denominations” that have nothing to do with Christ, and, therefore, with his Nativity.

However, as stated in the SBU’s petition, “access to these documents is carried out within the framework of criminal proceedings (Part 2 of Article 110 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine “Deliberate actions committed with the aim of changing the boundaries of the territory or state border of Ukraine in violation of the order established by the Constitution of Ukraine , as well as public calls or distribution of materials calling for such actions”) for the events that occurred on July 17, 2016 in Kyiv.”

“Then, not far from the national reserve “Sophia of Kiev”, the participants of the “Religious Procession” and personally the head of the religious organizations “Union of Orthodox Brotherhoods of Ukraine” and “Brotherhood of St. Russia", - explain authors of criminal proceedings. “In addition, the participants in the action held symbols of the Russian Empire, portraits of the Russian Tsar Nicholas II, and also sat on the grave of the first patriarch of Ukraine.”

How exactly does the hymn “God Save the Tsar!” and “portraits” of the Tsar canonized by the church threaten “changes in the state border of Ukraine in violation of the order established by the Constitution of Ukraine,” “Politnavigator” took an interest from the head of the Union of Orthodox Brotherhoods of Ukraine mentioned in the SBU report Valentina Lukiyanika.

“I can’t answer because no one called me to the SBU.” But how they could make procedural decisions without me is beyond my comprehension.

“Politnavigator”: “God Save the Tsar” in your performance is quite possible, but what kind of call is this - “Let the second Russia rise again”?

“I think this has already been dragged into something.” Apparently, this refers to the Canon of the Holy Royal Passion-Bearers, in one of the songs of which the Orthodox pray: “May Holy Rus' rise again...”. I don’t know whether the SBU “twisted” the words of the canon approved by the Church out of malicious intent or due to the complete lack of specialists who would have at least some idea about these issues.

“Politnavigator”: – Could you please explain how prayer can threaten the territorial integrity and inviolability of the state? After all, if the security agencies were so frightened by the quotation from the canon to the royal martyrs, then it follows that the SBU recognizes them as saints, through whose prayers one can destroy “the largest European country”?

– Either this is a state that is afraid of prayers to Orthodox saints (then the question arises about the roots of this state), or this is evidence of the “competence” of people who make such determinations. Most likely, they are simply using any reasons and clues to suppress any manifestation of dissent. It seems that more serious matters (the same corruption in the highest echelons of power, which is ruining this state right before our eyes) are simply too much for them. It remains, as Nikulin used to say to Vitsin, “to train on cats,” fighting with the Orthodox.

But what relation the Patriarch’s 2019 Christmas message has to the Kyivans’ Procession of the Cross in 2016 remained a mystery for Valentin Borisovich himself. So we are waiting for new wonderful discoveries from the SBU.

As for the allegations that the participants in the procession sat on the “grave” of the self-proclaimed “patriarch” of the unrecognized so-called. "Kyiv Patriarchate" (Hitler collaborator andKGB informer in Stalin's campsVolodymyr Romanyuk, who was driven to death by his competitor Filaret Denisenko, and was arbitrarily, without permission from the authorities, buried by Ukrainian neo-Nazis under the sidewalk at the entrance to St. Sophia Cathedral), then this is refuted operational shooting the SBU itself.

And yet the patriarch’s message was read out in the churches of the UOC (MP). How did it happen described on Facebook, cleric of the Kherson diocese, Archpriest Gennady Shkil: “These are not the same times: you can read it from a smartphone. Well, let the attentive employees of the Ukrainian customs prepare a hole for a new star on the shoulder straps, since it is more important to them than the Star of Bethlehem... But I still I’ll commit sabotage - I’ll download the message from the Internet and read it out... Just don’t tell anyone!”
