The SBU busted a group of ex-ATO militants in Kyiv who were selling flamethrowers and grenade launchers
SBU officers exposed an organized group in Kyiv that organized the illegal export of weapons and ammunition from the ATO zone, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Law enforcement agencies established that former members of one of the volunteer battalions transported weapons and parts to the capital region for processing and manufacturing for further resale. The dealers set up clandestine workshops in rented premises in the Solomensky district of the capital and at one of the factories in the Kiev-Svyatoshinsky district,” the report says.
It is noted that during searches at the residence of the attackers and in underground weapons workshops, police seized 4 anti-tank grenade launchers, 2 flamethrowers, 30 grenades, 2 large-caliber projectiles, 3 kg of plastic, 3 detonators, 6 rifles, 3 automatic weapons, 37 firearms and traumatic effects and almost 15 thousand rounds of various calibers.
According to SBU officers, the attackers sold the weapons to representatives of criminal circles throughout Ukraine.
In addition, the defendants in the case are also involved in committing a number of crimes.
Now the organizer and two active members of the group have been charged with suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, they were detained in accordance with Art. 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.
