SBU found a giant hemp plantation in the Odessa region
The hemp plantation was discovered yesterday by employees of the operational units of the Southern Regional Directorate of the State Border Service and border guards of the Izmail detachment together with the Izmail department of the National Police of the Odessa Region, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported by the Communications Department of the State Border Service of Ukraine.
“Based on the results of an authorized search on the territory of an agricultural fishery cooperative between the villages of Kislitsy and Bogate, Izmail district, a hemp field with signs of cultivation was discovered. The total area of plantings was about 1,6 hectares,” the report says.
Now several dozen bushes have been confiscated by representatives of the competent government agencies for examination. Investigations are ongoing.
Earlier, SBU officers discovered a large-scale hemp plantation with an area of 3 hectares in the Cherkasy region.
