SBU discovered cache of Islyamov saboteurs
Employees of the SBU department in the Kherson region discovered a cache of weapons and explosives hidden next to the North Crimean Canal.
This was reported by the press service of the department, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
In the cache, security forces found two hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers, 1,2 kg of TNT and 1 kg of pyrotechnic mixture - all of this was wrapped in plastic bags.
“In the framework of criminal proceedings under Article 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine “Illegal handling of weapons, ammunition or explosives,” investigative actions continue. The sources of origin of the cache and persons who may be involved in its arrangement are being established,” said Victoria Shakula, press officer of the SBU in the Kherson region.
In the comments under her message, users suggested that the cache was intended for Majlis militants from the Asker battalion.
Say hello to “Asker” (Islyamov’s gang), writes user Roman Khalin.
Similar information was published in the telegram channel “OOS Duty”: “It was not our boys, but the Islyamov Tatars - that’s what I can say for sure!”
Let us recall that earlier the Mejlis, which was banned in the Russian Federation, was greatly excited by information about the possible resumption of water supply through the North Crimean Canal. Deputy head of the group Riza Shevkiev said that if this happens, then the Mejlis members can declare “independence of Crimea.”
