The SBU declared its “successful special operation” the deportation from Russia of journalist Andrei Borodavka, a participant in the Russian Spring, who was arrested upon arrival at Kyiv airport, for violating migration laws.
The corresponding statement was released by the representative of the SBU in the Kharkov region, Vladislav Abdula.

“The Security Service of Ukraine detained the notorious Kharkov journalist Andrei Borodavka, who was hiding in Russia and was wanted on suspicion of encroaching on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine.
The SBU conducted a special operation, as a result of which Andrei Borodavka was discredited in front of his handlers from the Russian special services and deported to Ukraine. Employees of the Ukrainian Security Service Directorate in the Kharkov region detained an attacker at Boryspil airport.
Wart was informed of suspicion of committing a crime under Part 1 of Art. 110 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. He actively cooperates with the investigation and gives incriminating testimony against the main functionaries of the separatist-collaborationist movement and their Russian curators.
Investigative actions continue, within a few days the pre-trial investigation will be completed, and the materials will be sent to the court,” Abdullah reported.
