SBU put Lenya-Cosmos on the wanted list
The Security Service of Ukraine has put the former mayor of Kyiv Leonid Chernovetsky on the wanted list.

According to information on the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the “Wanted” section, Chernovetsky is wanted by the SBU as a person hiding from the prosecutor’s office, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The date of “disappearance” is indicated as July 24, 2017, the place of disappearance is not named.
The ex-mayor of Kyiv is accused under Part 2 of Art. 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (abuse of power or official position). It is also indicated that there is a court ruling on permission to detain for the purpose of arrest.
As reported, on July 14, 2017, Chernovetsky was informed of suspicion of committing a criminal offense under Part 2 of Art. 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The Department for Investigation of Crimes Committed by Criminal Organizations carries out pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings into the illegal construction of an engineering and transport infrastructure facility (helipad) on Parkovaya Road in Kyiv.
On July 25, investigators from the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine received court permission to detain Chernovetsky for the purpose of bringing him to participate in the consideration of a petition to apply a preventive measure in the form of detention.
