SBU published a video with journalist Boyko expelled from Russia
The SBU published video footage of the moment the charges were brought against journalist Elena Boyko, who the day before was expelled from Russia for violating migration laws, despite a statement about the need to provide political asylum.
According to the SBU press center, Boyko is suspected of a criminal offense under Part 2 of Art. 110 (encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine), a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the Ukrainian special services, Boyko spread anti-Ukrainian propaganda and called for violation of the territorial integrity of the country.
“In August 2015, having traveled to the temporarily occupied territories, and subsequently to the Russian Federation, she constantly called in the media to change the borders of the territory or the state structure of Ukraine.
On December 14 last year, the propagandist was put on the wanted list, and on December 15, the Galitsky District Court of Lvov gave permission to detain her in order to bring her to consider the application for a preventive measure - detention,” the statement says.
As PolitNavigator reportedElena Boyko, a journalist from Lvov known for her participation in Russian talk shows, who left Ukraine after Euromaidan, was expelled from the Russian Federation for violating immigration laws.
Political scientist Ruslan Ostashko, who defended Boyko, said that Ukrainian border guards took a journalist from no man's land on the border in the Kharkov region, they locked us in a separate room and assigned machine gunners.
