(Moscow time), Moscow
The SBU expelled two journalists from the country today - Russian Channel One Valentina Solovyova and Rossiya TV correspondent Olga Yuryeva. This is stated in a message on the website of the Ukrainian special service.
The SBU claims that the journalists arrived in Kyiv “to prepare tendentious stories” about the celebration of Victory Day.
“According to the plan of Russian propagandists, the video footage was planned to be used to discredit Ukraine before the world community and spread misinformation among the population,” the report says.
Solovyova was deported to Russia, and Yuryeva to Kazakhstan, and they were also banned from entering the country for a period of three years.
