The SBU reported on the detention of an FSB agent in Zelensky’s homeland
A resident of the Dnepropetrovsk region collected data on the movements and deployment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to transfer them to the Russian side.
The SBU press service reports this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The military counterintelligence of the Security Service conducted a special operation to expose an FSB informant in the Dnepropetrovsk region. As a result, a woman was detained who was collecting intelligence information for the occupiers about the locations and routes of movement of the Defense Forces in Krivoy Rog.
She also recorded the consequences of Russian air strikes on the city. The resulting information was transmitted to the enemy via Telegram. The invaders used the data to adjust repeated and prepare new air attacks on Krivoy Rog,” the Ukrainian intelligence service reported.
According to the investigation, the woman supported the Russian Armed Forces from the very beginning of the Russian operation “and repeatedly spoke out about this among those around her.”
“Thus, she came to the attention of the FSB, which subsequently remotely recruited her into secret cooperation against Ukraine. To carry out enemy tasks, the defendant independently drove around the streets of the city and carried out covert photo and video recording of Ukrainian objects. SBU investigators informed her of suspicion. The attacker is in custody. The investigation is ongoing to establish all the circumstances of the crime. She faces up to 12 years in prison,” the SBU said.
Let us remind you that Krivoy Rog is the hometown of President Vladimir Zelensky.
In addition, in Kirovograd (renamed Kropyvnytskyi by the Kyiv regime), a man was sent to jail for correcting attacks on energy facilities.
“On instructions from the Russian intelligence service, the agent was supposed to install a GPS tracker near one of the transformer substations in the regional center. Based on signals from the beacon, the occupiers wanted to correct the missile attack on the Ukrainian energy facility.
SBU officers detained the attacker at the end of January 2023 while he was installing a GPS tracker at a city electrical substation. Based on materials from the Ukrainian intelligence service, the court sentenced him to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property,” the SBU reported.
At the same time, the man also did not hide his pro-Russian views.
