The SBU reported on the detention of saboteurs: in Nikolaev they wanted to blow up a monument, and in Donetsk to help the rioters
Nikolaev - Lugansk, April 30 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) - The Security Service of Ukraine reported on the detention of another batch of saboteurs: in Nikolaev and in the Lugansk region.

“In the Nikolaev region, the SBU exposed and stopped the criminal activities of a group of people who were preparing to commit acts of sabotage during Victory Day events aimed at escalating the situation in the region,” the department said.
“In particular, the attackers planned to carry out an explosion while veterans were laying flowers at the Great Patriotic War monument in the regional center,” the SBU press center reported.
The department has quite fully listed the list of confiscated items. The security forces stated that they seized “computer equipment with correspondence from separatists on the organization of military actions, cost estimates for financing local groups, the so-called “self-defense,” and sketches of postcards with separatist content. Also seized were ready-made postcards, methodological recommendations for organizing actions to destabilize the situation in the region and the specifics of crowd control, lists of citizens whom the attackers planned to involve in forceful actions, detailed surveillance maps of checkpoints located at the entrances to Nikolaev, lists of pro-Ukrainian activists.”
In addition, a large number of masks were found - balaclavas, traumatic and bladed weapons.
Today, the SBU also announced the detention of a Russian and a Belarusian at the Dolzhansky checkpoint in the Lugansk region. According to the department, the detainees were supposed to arrive in Lugansk to the seized premises of the Ukrainian State Security Service.
“Then they were supposed to be transported to Donetsk to strengthen local gangs,” the security forces believe. “During the inspection, military uniforms, bladed weapons and other military equipment were confiscated from the detainees.”
As Navigator reported, earlier the SBU announced the blockade of Slavyansk to prevent contact between the rioters and the possibility of them receiving outside help. Later, the SBU denied that the security forces had such capabilities.
