The press service of the SBU announced the detention of a Ukrainian citizen, a resident of Severodonetsk, Lugansk region, who called for terrorist attacks against the Ukrainian authorities, soldiers of the armed forces and law enforcement officers of Ukraine.
The report of the Ukrainian special service indicates that the man, starting in April 2014, acted on instructions that he received from the leadership of the LPR.
“He, through social networks, disseminated calls for the overthrow of the constitutional order, holding anti-Ukrainian actions and informed about the time and place of their holding. In addition, he disseminated deliberately false information about the progress of the ATO and incited Internet users to collect information about the personnel, weapons and positions of Ukrainian military personnel in order to then transfer this data to terrorists,” the SBU claims, emphasizing that the man was planning an armed attack on workers Severodonetsk city police department.
As PolitNavigator reported, earlier in Dnepropetrovsk and Transcarpathia, Internet users had already received suspended sentences for careless statements on the Internet, which were regarded by the SBU as “separatist.”
