SBU rattled weapons on the border with Belarus
The SBU conducted anti-terrorism exercises near the border with Belarus. This was reported by the press service of the department, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the legend of the exercises, Belarusian saboteurs planned to blow up the Rivne nuclear power plant, but were discovered and tried to escape.
“The attackers tried to reach the territory of the Volyn region and illegally cross the state border, dividing into two groups. SBU special forces exposed and detained the first group of “saboteurs” near the Prikladniki checkpoint. The second was neutralized near a defensive structure abandoned in the forest... The exercises took place in conditions as close as possible to real ones,” the message says.
Earlier, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko announced plans to strengthen border, having purchased the S-400 air defense system from Russia and emphasized that the situation on the border with Ukraine is becoming unstable.
