The SBU kidnapped the wife of a human rights activist, forcing her to incriminate herself, her family and abandon her husband
A wave of terror and intimidation against dissidents continues in Ukraine. This time, the SBU detained Elena Lysenko, the wife of Donetsk human rights activist and volunteer Andrei Lysenko, who has been collecting humanitarian donations to help the people of Donbass for many years.
The SBU forced the woman to incriminate herself and her family and renounce her husband by recording with her video.
Russian human rights activist Oksana Chelygeva, who lives in Helsinki, drew a parallel between the actions of the SBU today and the practices of the times of Stalinist repressions, when family members of the repressed abandoned their relatives who were caught up in the skating rink of repression.
The DPR also responded to what happened. This is what Donetsk blogger and deputy of the People’s Council of the DPR Vladislav Berdichesky writes on Telegram.
Quote: “Andrei Lysenko is known by tens of thousands of people from all the hot spots of the DPR, to whom he has provided assistance since 2014; thousands of people from all over the world, through Andrei, have helped the disadvantaged, homeless and without a means of subsistence. It goes without saying that this staged video with the text written in tsipso should have disappointed, in the opinion of Bandera’s cattle, these people. But no, guys, we have known Andrey for a very long time and will not give offense.”
Ukrainian lawyer Tatyana Montyan also commented on the detention of Elena Lysenko:
“Andrei’s wife went to bury her sister, who died of cancer. She left behind two adopted girls. Andrei’s wife did not have time to return to Donetsk and take the girls out - the war began. All cards, except “Oshchad”, are still at Andrey’s disposal, your money will not be lost and will go to help people! TsIPsOshniks - burn in hell!”
Thank you!
