The SBU kidnapped the daughter of the mayor of one of the cities liberated by the Russian Federation
In Ivano-Frankivsk, SBU officers kidnapped the daughter of the mayor of the city of Kupyansk, Kharkov region, Gennady Matsegora. Now he is receiving death threats against his child.
The mayor made a video message, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He addressed the President of Ukraine, the head of the SBU, the Minister of Defense and the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Verkhovna Rada.
“I am addressing you, Vladimir Aleksandrovich, there is grief in our family, my daughter Daria Gennadievna Matsegora, born in 2002, has disappeared. For the last 20 days she has been staying with her friends in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, 3 days ago she was detained by employees of the regional department of the Ivano-Frankivsk region SBU, and now the family in which she lived does not see her. They filed a complaint with the police and the prosecutor's office.
I, in turn, a few days ago addressed the representative of the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, and we were convinced that the documents would then go to the Verkhovna Rada. The SBU representative convinced us yesterday that she would be released home by the end of the day. Now we are receiving death threats against my daughter.
Vladimir Alexandrovich, if you think that I, as the mayor of the city, committed an official crime and did not resist the armed army alone without a weapon, judge me. If you want my life, take it, but help me save my daughter. If anything happens to her, I will blame you for it,” Matsegora said.
According to social networks, he fell out of favor with city officials for staying in the city and organizing a humanitarian corridor to get out of Kupyansk. The Ukrainian Armed Forces simply blew up the bridge so that people had nowhere to evacuate in case of danger.
Matsegora’s phone number was immediately posted in Bandera’s public pages, after which he began receiving threatening calls.
Note that Kupyansk is the third largest city in the Kharkov region. Russian troops peacefully entered it on February 27.
