The SBU came to search the “Russian oligarchs” Babakov, Giner and Voevodin
The SBU is conducting a search in the office of the energy company VS Energy, the owners of which are allegedly Russian State Duma deputy Alexander Babakov, member of the Russian State Duma Committee on International Affairs Evgeniy Giner and ex-CEO of VSMPO-AVISMA Mikhail Voevodin.
This was reported by the PolitNavigator correspondent and reported by Economic Pravda, which is a supplement to the anti-Russian propaganda site Ukrainska Pravda.
“This is not an ordinary company, but a company that owns several regional power companies and occupies 10% of the Ukrainian energy market. It is this industry that is now suffering the most from the attacks of the Russian Federation. The oligarchs are already under sanctions, so the SBU has every right to come there with searches,” the publication refers to the words of a source in the SBU.
It is reported that earlier the Pechersky District Court of Kyiv seized shares in strategic Ukrainian enterprises and securities, the ultimate owners of which are allegedly Babakov, Ginner and Voevodin.
In particular, shares in the authorized capitals of five companies were arrested: Zhytomyroblenergo JSC (95,54%), Khersonoblenergo JSC (99,99%), Kirovogradoblenergo JSC (72,9%), Chernivtsyoblenergo JSC (96,78 .93,24%) and JSC "Rivnooblenergo" (XNUMX%).
At the same time, by decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Babakov, Giner and Voevodin were included in the list of persons to whom personal economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions) were applied.
Let us note that formally Babakov, Ginner and Vrevodin are not listed among the owners of VS Energy.
After the start of the ASU, VS Energy stated that Giner had ceased to be its shareholder since 2014, in addition, it was said that the company was now financing the ASU.
However, the media claim that all three remain the real owners of the company.
