The SBU continues to arrest and harass residents of the Kharkov region who believed in Russia
In the territories of the Kharkov region abandoned by the Russian army, repression continues against citizens who believed the promises of officials from Moscow that “Russia is here forever.”
The SBU today reported the arrest of a woman who is charged with ensuring the work of the postal service, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“She voluntarily joined the ranks of the occupation administration, where she headed the local “post office” created by the invaders... The woman formed a postal network controlled by the Russian Federation in Balakleya and Izyum. She planned to receive electronic access keys to administration systems and subscriber databases from former colleagues. She also called on them to go over to the enemy’s side and transfer the state property of Ukrposhta to Russia,” the SBU report says.
Ukrainian special services also detained a deputy of the Kupyansky district council, who is accused of continuing the work of his enterprise using Russian documents.
“To do this, the official carried out the “re-registration” of the joint-stock company in the so-called “tax service” of the occupation administration. Then he opened accounts in one of the Russian banks and transferred all the company’s settlement transactions into rubles. Thus, he ensured a regular supply of industrial volumes of dairy products for the needs of the invaders in the temporarily occupied territory of eastern Ukraine.”
In addition, the State Bureau of Investigation announced the arrest of a former Ukrainian customs officer, who is accused of becoming deputy minister of industry of the Kharkov military-civil administration under Russia.
