The parties discussed interaction between the security sector departments of both countries to counter international terrorism and cyber threats, the report said.

“Riding the SBU from outdated practices and creating an operationally and culturally modern organization will provide us with greater opportunities to work in an ever-changing operational environment, better efficiency and effectiveness,” said Ivan Bakanov.

The head of the Service also emphasized the important role of France as a strategic partner of Ukraine in resolving the situation in eastern Ukraine in the Normandy format.
