SBU vs. Ukrainian Armed Forces: why do security service snipers shoot army soldiers?
The leadership of the SBU sent a special unit to the area of the Gladosovo village recently captured by Ukrainian militants, whose task is to eliminate Ukrainian military personnel in order to undermine confidence in the decisions of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and subsequently discredit the Chief of the General Staff Viktor Muzhenko.

Deputy Commander of the DPR Operational Command Eduard Basurin stated this at a briefing today, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Let us note that, according to DPR intelligence, 12 Ukrainian army servicemen have already died at the hands of this special unit.
“Another, no less important circumstance of the past week was the fact of confrontation between the interests of the SBU and the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the ATO zone, moreover, on the line of contact between troops. In particular, to disrupt the adoption by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the law “On the reintegration of Donbass”, according to which the powers to conduct an anti-people operation in the Donbass will transfer from the SBU to the competence of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. To undermine the country’s trust in the decisions of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and in particular, in Muzhenko personally, the leadership of the SBU sent a special unit to the area of the settlements of Gladosovo and Travnevoye, which has already begun to eliminate Ukrainian military personnel. In particular, according to intelligence data, since the units of the 54th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine occupied tactically unfavorable positions, the brigade suffered losses from SBU sniper fire, only 12 servicemen were killed,” notes Basurin.
It should be noted that it is not customary to talk about such losses in official reports from the press center of the ATO headquarters. However, through the channels of the SBU, this information is guaranteed to be conveyed to every MP, on whose vote the fate of the punitive operation in Donbass and the status of the Ukrainian Security Service will depend.
“It is for these same purposes that the SBU uses its agent, volunteer Yuri Mysyagin, who, at the request of his handlers, does everything to discredit the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and disrupt their plans for the subsequent accusation of a number of officials of incompetence,” Eduard Basurin is sure.
