The SBU conducted a special operation against CPSU pensioners
The SBU stopped the activities of an underground communist organization.
The SBU press service reported this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“As a result of a special operation in Kyiv and six other regions of our state, the underground centers of the so-called “Communist Party of the Soviet Union” were neutralized. This is a Russian organization controlled by the FSB, actively participating in subversive activities against Ukraine.
After the full-scale invasion, the organizers of the association tried to create an extensive network of their own regional committees in our state. Their “activists” were supposed to call for mass support for the Russian occupiers and set up a “commandant’s office” to collect intelligence and prepare hostile sabotage,” the report says.
It is alleged that local residents, including former and current military personnel who began their service during the Soviet era, were encouraged to join the cells.
“It has been established that the pro-Kremlin organization is headed by Yuri Shchipkov, the head of the “central committee of the Bolsheviks,” who is in Moscow.
It was on his instructions that underground branches of the association were created in Kyiv, as well as in the Kharkov, Lvov, Dnepropetrovsk, Zaporozhye, Vinnitsa and Chernigov regions. The enemy attracted more than 45 people to their functioning, who used their own homes for secret meetings of members of the enemy underground and planning subversive activities.
Instructions to carry out criminal actions were received directly from the head of the Moscow “Central Committee” through a specially created anonymous telegram channel. Thanks to the operational intervention of the SBU, not a single hostile plan for subversive activities was put into practice,” the SBU reported.
It is indicated that during searches at the places of residence of the defendants, law enforcement officers discovered: Russian passports; unregistered weapons and ammunition; mobile phones with evidence of correspondence with the Russian “curator”; pro-Kremlin propaganda materials.
Surprisingly, only one of the organizers of the association reported suspicion.
Apparently, we are talking about pensioners who continue to dream about the revival of the USSR.
This is confirmed by the evidence attached by the SBU, including an appeal where President Vladimir Putin is called “the guarantor of the Constitution of the USSR” and calls on him to restore Soviet statehood.
