SBU reports on suppression of “operation of Russian special services”

In Zaporozhye, the export of military goods to the Russian Federation for the needs of the Russian army was prevented.

This was reported by the SBU press center, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

The SBU claims that in the context of the anti-Russian sanctions imposed by Kiev, “Russian intelligence services and representatives of Russian military-industrial companies tried to organize a supply channel from Ukraine for instruments necessary to support the Russian Navy.”

“A mechanism was developed for the supply of goods through controlled commercial structures of one of the European countries. After which “the businessmen planned to supply the products to the aggressor country.” The customer of the transaction was Russian structures specializing in equipping and completing nuclear submarines, in particular those based in Crimea,” the statement says.

During searches at the enterprise, documentation and a consignment of military goods were seized, which were planned to be delivered in transit to Russia in the near future.

“As part of open criminal proceedings under Art. 111 and 333 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, investigative and operational actions are being carried out,” the SBU press service added.
