SBU reports: “Moscow’s hand” was found in the case of the destruction of Polish and Jewish graves
Finally, the honorable name of Ukrainian patriots has been restored: the SBU captured a gang that was destroying Polish and Jewish monuments on the orders of Russia. The fact that the “terrorists” kept with them the state flags of the Russian Federation and St. George’s ribbons helped to identify the customer. Previously “PolitNavigator” reported about this case with reference to the social network page of neo-Nazis from C14, who reported the “catch” of “Russian symbols” during searches, without specifying where they took place.
“Employees of the Security Service of Ukraine, together with the prosecutor’s office, exposed an organized group in Chernigov, which, at the request of the Russian special services, carried out crimes aimed at inciting ethnic hatred and damaging the international image of Ukraine,” сообщает SBU press center. “Law enforcement officers established that members of the group were involved in committing a number of acts of vandalism against objects of Polish and Jewish cultural and religious heritage in the Sumy and Volyn regions.”
Despite the fact that the distance between the “targets of vandalism” in the Sumy and Volyn regions is about 700 kilometers, Ukrainian James Bonds established that the pro-Russian gang managed to commit crimes along this entire length: “Special service operatives documented that on the night of December 25-26 In 2017, in the village of Melniki, Shatsk region of Volyn, attackers outlined and broke the crosses of the mass grave of Polish border guards who died in September 1939 in battles with the Red Army. On the night of December 29-30, 2017, vandals painted an anti-Semitic inscription on the building of the Jewish community “Jewish House” in Sumy.”
And, of course, during the searches “not only TNT blocks, offensive grenades and bladed weapons were seized from the premises of those involved in the case,” but also “anti-Ukrainian symbols.”
