“Two days before the elections, on October 23, a conversion center was exposed, which worked for the needs of the candidate for mayor of Kyiv Gennady Korban. According to preliminary estimates, 50 million hryvnia were cashed out through this center, the daily turnover is 15-20 million hryvnia,” Gritsak said.
According to him, a message about exposing the center was posted on the SBU website on October 23 without indicating the political force.
“During the arrest, the criminals fled with cash in a BMW X5 with three bullet holes in the wheels. When we blocked them on Pochtovaya Square, they rammed our cars and drove over the legs of our officers,” he added.
