Deputy Minister of State Security of the LPR Alexander Basov stated this at a briefing in Lugansk.

According to him, the SBU in the Lugansk region collects data on journalists and media employees of the LPR, their relatives living in Ukraine. This data is used for forced recruitment when they cross the demarcation line.

“Media employees, under the threat of reprisals against them or their relatives, are not only forced to inform on their colleagues and leak information about the work of other publications, but are also forced to sign, without reviewing, pre-prepared or blank interrogation sheets, which are filled out with confessions necessary for the secret service,” Basov said. .
