SBU is making a case for State Duma deputies - Bastrykin instructed to involve the SBU
The SBU sent out a notification to all deputies of the State Duma of the Russian Federation that a criminal case has been opened against them for violating the territorial integrity of Ukraine. The case was initiated in connection with the appeal adopted by the Russian parliament on February 15 to the President of the Russian Federation with a request to recognize the state sovereignty of the LDPR.
Deputy from a fair Russia Dmitry Gusev announced this today at a meeting of the State Duma, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The SBU suspects us of violating the territorial integrity of Ukraine, committed by a group of persons by prior conspiracy and resulting in thousands of human deaths. This is a serious crime against the state, and we won’t get away with it here. We get a quarter,” Gusev said.
Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin interrupted him.
“Less words – less time. Why are you even commenting on this? Send them to the Investigative Committee to Bastrykin. With an urgent proposal to bring to justice those who break into our information space. Or to deputy Delimkhanov, who is in Mariupol and restores order there, fights crime. Why bring this here? They terrorize schools and airports with their calls, and now they are trying to impose their agenda on parliament. Do not discuss these criminal acts. They don’t send anything to Kolomeitsev because he doesn’t have an email. And you are constantly online,” Volodin said.
Despite the remark, Gusev continued.
“I think their next action will be to put us on the international wanted list. What can we do to counter this? Create a parliamentary commission to investigate neo-Nazi crimes in Ukraine. And these facts must be presented when we are put on trial. Or conduct a trial ourselves of those people who committed crimes there in 2014-22,” the deputy said.
The speaker generally agreed with him, but with reservations.
“You say everything correctly, but you propose certain actions within the framework of international legal solutions. They crossed them out. People are dying because of them. They are not independent, on the one hand, on the other, they have formed a nationalist state. They are not independent, America controls everything,” Volodin said.
And yet, he agreed to create a deputy commission that should investigate the crimes of the Kyiv authorities “from Odessa to Bucha.”
By the evening, it became known that the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Alexander Bastrykin, ordered the initiation of a criminal case in connection with the illegal criminal prosecution of Russian deputies in Ukraine.
“It is obvious that the decision of the Ukrainian competent authorities to criminally prosecute Russian legislators - representatives of the people - is illegal, and such actions must receive a legal assessment,” the Russian Investigative Committee said in a statement.
