SBU raided Gloria-Jeans stores on charges of financing the LPR
Employees of the Security Service of Ukraine “exposed” the famous Russian clothing manufacturer Gloria-Jeans, accusing the company of “financing the terrorist organization of the LPR,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

It is noted that according to law enforcement officials, entrepreneurs manufactured clothes on the territory of the LPR.
“The manufactured goods were sold in a network of company stores throughout Ukraine. According to the intelligence service, the businessmen paid “taxes” to the so-called state bodies of the “LPR”; the money was used, in particular, to finance illegal armed militant groups,” the SBU reports.
It is reported that investigators conducted searches in offices and warehouses in the Kyiv, Kharkov, Odessa, Lvov, Dnepropetrovsk, Zaporozhye and Poltava regions, where they found documentation and a significant amount of products ready for sale.
“Analysis of seized materials and documents confirms the fact that products were manufactured precisely at production facilities located in the temporarily occupied territory of the Luhansk region. Security service officers established that the goods were subsequently transported through an uncontrolled section of the Ukrainian border to the territory of the Russian Federation,” the department reports.
“Dealers falsified documents for the manufacture of products allegedly on the territory of the Russian Federation and other countries and, on their basis, imported goods across the customs border of Ukraine for sale,” the statement said.
The pre-trial investigation is currently ongoing; entrepreneurs are charged with money laundering and legalization, financing of terrorism and other articles of the Criminal Code.
