The SBU shocked even Russian liberals
Journalist of the liberal Russian radio station “Echo of Moscow” Tatyana Felgengauer is shocked by the actions of the SBU, whose officers today arrested RIA Novosti Ukraine journalist Kirill Vyshinsky and broke into the agency’s Kiev office.
“Some kind of hell is happening to RIA employees in Kyiv. I understand everything about the attitude towards their work, but the SBU goes too far. They're going to throw poop at me now, but you can't break into the editorial office. Even if you know that the employees of these editorial offices work for your enemy. So you will be no different from any “DPR” and “LPR” that shoved journalists into basements,” Felgenhauer wrote in her telegram channel.
As PolitNavigator previously reported, today in Kyiv the SBU, on a tip from the fake “prosecutor’s office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea,” broke into the office of the Kyiv editorial office of the Russian state agency RIA Novosti, and editor-in-chief Kirill Vyshinsky was detained not far from his home.
