SBU seized a Kiev resident for “pro-Russian” posts about the pandemic
Employees of the Security Service of Ukraine detained a Kyiv “swindler” who allegedly, at the direction of the Russian special services, disseminated information about the development of the coronavirus epidemic in “Nezalezhnaya”.
This was reported by the press service of the SBU, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Cyber specialists of the Service exposed a resident of Kiev who, in order to artificially attract attention to his own resources on the Internet and earn money, distributed fake content about COVID-19. This “advice” was given to the Kiev resident by Russian advertisers, from whom he studied remotely in paid online courses for SMM specialists,” the message says.
The department emphasized that the detainee, through his own Internet resources, disseminated information about the progress of the pandemic in Ukraine, including with reference to “Russian sources.”
“The detainee also admitted that he received these materials from Russian “teachers,” the SBU made up a story.
