The SBU compiles lists of Red Cross employees who worked in the LDPR
The Security Service of Ukraine is collecting information about employees of the International Red Cross who, after the outbreak of hostilities in Donbass, visited territories not controlled by the Kyiv authorities.
This is stated on the official website of the LPR Ministry of Internal Affairs with reference to an employee of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine who called the hotline, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“According to his information, the SBU sent a request to the leadership of the Kharkov border detachment, in which it demanded to compile a complete list of employees of the International Committee of the Red Cross, indicating their full identification data, who, from 2017 to the present, crossed the border of Ukraine using the organization’s documents,” the message says .
The border guard noted that special attention was ordered to be paid to ICRC staff visiting uncontrolled territories.
“Also, the employee of the Kharkov border detachment was surprised that the SBU demanded complete installation data. Such information is usually collected when a person is hired into operational development. He expressed concern that employees of the International Committee of the Red Cross, who visited the territory of the LPR and DPR and provided assistance to local residents, were under the threat of reprisals from the SBU,” the department noted.
