Navigator was informed about this by the ataman’s comrade-in-arms, deputy of the Primorsky Village Council Yuri Pershikov.
According to him, a certain Anastasia contacted him, introducing herself as “Yurchenko’s lawyer” and asking him to “hand over Yurchenko’s Russian passport.”
“Any lawyer should know that every new document in a case complicates it. Also, the lawyer should know that if a person has two citizenships, the documents of the country in which he is located and which makes his claims are used,” noted Yuri Pershikov.
He also stated that he “does not know whether Sergei Yurchenko received a Russian passport.”
“However, I can confirm that Yurchenko is a deputy and a journalist and documents confirming this, as well as a letter from the mayor of Bakhchisarai, can be sent upon request,” Yuri Pershikov emphasized.
