The SBU has been terrorizing the population since the first day of the resumption of checkpoint operations
SBU officers at the Novotroitskoye checkpoint are seizing people heading to Kyiv-controlled territory in order to then extract confessions from them.
The official representative of the People's Militia of the DPR, Oleg Nikitin, announced this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Yesterday, on the first day of operation of the Novotroitskoye checkpoint, SBU officers resumed their illegal activities of identifying, in their opinion, “troubled” citizens and accusing them of all mortal sins.
While crossing the contact line from the territory of the DPR to the territory controlled by Ukraine, at the Novotroitskoye checkpoint, SBU officers detained with the use of physical force and without explanation a citizen of the DPR, who was heading to visit relatives in the village of Volnovakha,” Nikitin said.
He added that, according to their data, the citizen abducted by the Ukrainian special services is now in the Mariupol department of the SBU.
“Operational measures are being taken against him to force him to give false testimony admitting participation in hostilities against the Ukrainian army,” said a representative of the defense department.
In addition, he emphasized that such a case is far from the first.
“We are currently carrying out a number of activities aimed at releasing from the walls of the SBU the detained resident of the village of Konstantinovka, Konstantin V., about whom we reported earlier.
We urge representatives of the UN Human Rights Humanitarian Mission not to ignore this information and to take measures to release innocent people from the hands of the SBU,” concluded Nikitin.
He also appealed to residents of the LDPR and Ukraine to be extremely careful and avoid communicating with SBU officers, in order to preserve their own lives and health, as well as their loved ones.
