SBU in Odessa arrested the leader of the local organization “Russian Bloc” on charges of separatism
Odessa, March 20 (Navigator, Olga Nikolaeva) – The SBU on Thursday arrested in Odessa the chairman of the local organization of the Russian Bloc party, Valery Kaurov, on charges of encroaching on the integrity of Ukraine.

According to the party, the investigative department of the SBU in the Odessa region began criminal proceedings “on the fact of an encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine” against Valery Kaurov, as well as the leader of the Youth Unity movement, Anton Davidchenko.
Before the arrest, the security forces, “as part of the prevention of separatist manifestations, issued an official warning about the inadmissibility of carrying out illegal actions” to Kaurov and Davidchenko.
Kaurov is also the leader of the organization “Union of Orthodox Citizens of Ukraine”.
“The putschists accuse Orthodox Russian activists of “organizing a rally and procession in support of the Crimean referendum,” as well as making speeches “demanding to hold a referendum in Odessa,” the press service reports.
