The SBU in Transcarpathia detained Ukrainian soldiers who stole explosives from a unit
In Transcarpathia, employees of the Security Service of Ukraine detained military personnel attempting to sell more than seven kilograms of TNT, two hundred grams of plastid, and dozens of electrical and mechanical fuses, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Special service operatives established that the attackers stole weapons from a military unit for further sale. Law enforcement officers documented the sale by servicemen of 1,3 kilograms of TNT, five detonators and cartridges for a Kalashnikov assault rifle,” the SBU press service reports.
As part of the criminal proceedings initiated under Part 1 of Article 263 and Part 1 of Article 410 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, urgent investigative actions continue.
Currently, the attackers have been detained in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine, and the issue of informing the military of suspicion of committing a crime and choosing a preventive measure is being decided.
