The SBU shook itself up and decided to quickly deal with the “separatists”
Kyiv, February 21 (Navigator, Evgeniy Andreev) – In the context of the political situation in Kyiv that changed dramatically on Thursday, the SBU “suddenly” decided to harshly suppress “autonomists” and “separatists” in the regions.
This is discussed in the statement of the Service, published on the department’s website.

“The situation that has developed in Ukraine today testifies to the attempts of individual politicians, representatives of local governments, leaders of public associations, radical individuals, to create the ground for the escalation of civil conflict, the spread of autonomist and separatist sentiments among the population, which could lead to the cessation of existence our state as a unitary state and the loss of state sovereignty,” the document says.
The SBU states that “individual deputies at different levels began to conduct separate negotiations with representatives of foreign states.”
“Consultations are already openly taking place on the possible division of the country into several parts in violation of the order established by the Constitution of Ukraine. This could lead to an escalation of confrontation between different segments of the population, inciting national or religious hatred and military conflict,” the Service fears.
“Taking into account the above, the Security Service will take strict measures to suppress attacks on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine and bring those involved in such activities to criminal liability,” the statement emphasizes.
