This was announced by the head of the SBU Vasily Gritsak, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports with reference to the department’s press service.
“Today we know that more than 300 Serbian citizens have fought on the territory of the LPR alone since the beginning of the conflict in Donbass. We have already sent data to this country about the militants who fought against the Ukrainian army in Donbass. We know that most of this Serbian unit was based in the area of the city of Alchevsk. We have specific addresses, we know a lot of names,” he said.
Gritsak said that Ukraine decided to announce this openly to see the reaction of the Serbian authorities.
Let us recall that on October 7, a meeting between US Special Representative Kurt Volcker and Russian Presidential Aide Vladislav Surkov took place on the territory of Serbia. Serbia officially supports the territorial integrity of Ukraine, but at the same time refuses to join EU sanctions against Russia.
