The SBU detained a vocational school student from Yasinovataya and is molding him into a “DPR spy”
The Armed Forces of Ukraine and the counterintelligence of the Security Service of Ukraine detained 23-year-old resident of Donetsk Alexey Navodnichy, a student at the Yasinovatsky Construction College, on charges of intelligence for the DPR, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
About it reported the press service of the Joint Forces Operation.
The guy was detained on June 3 near Marinka. According to the Ukrainian special services, in March 2018 he allegedly carried out reconnaissance of military facilities; we will receive 15000 rubles (more than 6000 hryvnia) for the completed task.
“In 2018, I met with Machete, who offered me to earn money by going to the [government-controlled] territory of Ukraine and finding out their base. Where the tanks are located, their artillery, how many soldiers they have, and so on. They needed information from me about how many people they had, what equipment they had, and how much they were preparing for battle. I agreed to this task and left the next day, took route 42, arrived and went towards Marinka. Having reached the nearest checkpoint, I found out all the information about the weapons - what it is, where it is, how it is, what fortifications are - and returned the same way, got on the bus and went to my home in Donetsk. Arriving in Donetsk, I called Machete and told all this information,” the suspect said during interrogation.
During the second trip, the guy was caught.
On June 4, materials against the vocational school student were sent to the Volnovakha police department, which opened criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Article 260 of the Criminal Code - the creation of illegal armed groups.
