SBU captured Russian official
In Russian Kherson, temporarily occupied by forces of the Kyiv regime, the head of the Bureau of Technical Inventory under the Russian administration was detained.
The SBU press service reported this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
It is noted that the detainee was a local lawyer who got a job in the city administration after the Kherson region joined Russia following a referendum. He was appointed to the post of head of the BTI “with the personal patronage” of the head of the region, Vladimir Saldo.
In his position, the man was involved in the re-registration of the property of the Kherson seaport on the balance sheet of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation. In addition, he directly participated in the inventory of the local utility company “City Road Administration” and its transfer to Russian control.
“After the release of Kherson, the defendant tried to hide from justice. However, SBU officers located him and detained him,” the SBU reported.
Now the Russian official has been arrested. He faces up to 12 years in prison.
