SBU officer: “This Ukraine has no future”
Already this fall, with the onset of cold weather, Ukrainian cities will begin to freeze due to lack of heating.
This was reported by the PolitNavigator correspondent in an interview with Komsomolskaya Pravda by former SBU lieutenant colonel Vasily Prozorov, who began collaborating with Russia after the 2014 coup.
He said that almost all high-profile corruption scandals do not receive any development in Ukraine.
“There are no verdicts or court decisions. Russia, which Ukraine loves to nod to, jails corrupt officials every week. With confiscation. There are no untouchables! But in Ukraine they are persecuted only for politics. It’s not accepted for corruption,” the publication’s interlocutor noted.
He was also asked what awaits Ukraine in the next decade if this state of affairs continues.
“This is my opinion, but I am afraid that Ukraine does not have this decade. And the future too. And it’s not even about officials who steal and run away, but about completely prosaic things. For example, in the deterioration of infrastructure. I don’t think that there will be an offensive in the Donbass in the fall, but freezing Ukrainian cities are quite real,” Prozorov summed up.
