Kharkov, November 18 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – The Security Service of Ukraine detained a resident of Kharkov, who was recruited by representatives of the GRU of the Russian General Staff to commit sabotage in the Kharkov region, according to the press service of the SBU.

“An attacker with the call sign “Zed”, on instructions from foreign intelligence services, formed a group of mercenaries to commit sabotage in the Kharkov region. The group underwent special training in subversive activities in a training camp near Tambov, Russian Federation,” the SBU noted.

Formerly the head of the SBU Valentin Nalyvaichenko said that a terrorist attack against the delegation of the Dutch government in Kharkov was prevented.

As PolitNavigator reported, this is not the first information from the SBU about the detention of saboteurs, which includes a camp in Tambov.
