Scania, unlike Volkswagen, refused to supply its cars to Crimea
Moscow - Simferopol, April 1 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Stamm) - Companies and individuals registered in Crimea will not be able to purchase trucks, buses and special equipment of the Swedish brand Scania. This was announced by the General Director of Scania-Rus LLC (Scania representative office in Russia) Hans Tardell during a press conference in Moscow.

if there is a request for supplies from Crimea for our products, we will be forced to refuse. We must take into account that we are a Russian and a European company at the same time and are subject to two laws,” Tardell quotes "News".
The official website of the European Union contains a list of sanctions imposed by the EU Council in 2014 and relating to Crimea. There are no direct indications of a ban on the supply of trucks, but one of the points in the document talks about a ban on the export of transport to Crimea and Sevastopol, which, apparently, determined Scania’s decision.
In 2014, Scania became the leader in the sale of trucks with a gross weight of over 16 tons among foreign companies on the Russian market.
